Marc Masclans

My name is Marc Masclans, born in Barcelona in 1988. Graduated in philosophy from the University of Barcelona, in 2013 I decided that my true vocation was the figures. I wanted to transform my lifelong hobby into my full-time job. I started painting around 2002 and since then I have not stopped learning and improving, in the company of the best painters and referents of each moment, such as Alfonso Giraldes and Jose Palomares, referents and pioneers in fantasy collectible painting.

I have had the opportunity to work with all the major brands in the industry such as Big Child, Coolminiornot, Scale 75, Ak, Hacer miniaturas, Pegaso Models, Black Sun, Black Crow y Hera Models.

For me, miniature painting is much more than just a hobby of coloring scale reproductions of fantasy figures. It is an artistic discipline with a very broad background and possibilities, which has not stopped growing in recent years, both the proposal and the followers.

My intention has always been to express myself through the painting of figures, to give them life and narrate through color and brushstrokes on the three-dimensional canvas. At the same time, teaching and tutoring other painters has become a pillar in my work, and I hope to expand it in the coming years to be able to train painters with to the highest level.
